Canyon Coach Lines has implement a UVC sanitizing and disinfection system to kill all viruses and bacteria within the bus. This new system is currently being utilized by numerous major airlines to thoroughly clean their aircraft from all bacteria and viruses between flights to include the COVID‐19 virus. We are now working diligently to implement this technology into “all” of our buses making each unit Safer and Clean for all.

Everyday Preventive Actions

Cleaning and Disinfecting

“Cleaning removes germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces or objects. Cleaning works by using soap (or detergent) and water to physically remove germs from surfaces.” We use hospital grade cleaning products that removes dirt and organics without leaving residue.

“Disinfecting kills germs on surfaces or objects. Disinfecting works by using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces or objects.”

We use hospital grade disinfectant and other products that is EPA registered to kill Influenza, MRSA, Norovirus, and other germs without using toxic chemicals. This product also kills the coronavirus.

Listed below are some of the procedures we follow when cleaning our terminal:

  1. Remove debris from floors and ground.
  2. Pre-clean any gross soils found on surfaces
  3. Liberally apply disinfecting dilution to all touch points and contaminated surfaces (desktops, door knobs, and other touch points are disinfected daily). THE PRODUCT WE USE DOES KILL THE CORONAVIRUS.
  4. While allowing disinfectant to dwell on surfaces check stock of paper towels, toilet tissue, hand soaps & sanitizers
  5. Clean other surfaces such as mirrors, glass, etc.
  6. After dwell time of 10 minutes, wipe off surfaces that have been disinfected
  7. Mop floors WITH DISINFECTANT CLEANER.

Listed below are some of the procedures we follow when cleaning a bus: Cleaning is done each day.

  1. Remove debris from floors
  2. Pre-clean any gross soils found on surfaces
  3. Liberally apply disinfecting dilution to all touch points and contaminated surfaces (armrests, seats, seat belts, interior bus walls, windows, toilet and other touch points are disinfected daily). THE PRODUCT WE USE DOES KILL THE CORONAVIRUS.
  4. We allow disinfectant to dwell on surfaces until dry.
  5. Clean other surfaces such as mirrors, glass, etc.
  6. Mop floors WITH DISINFECTANT CLEANER.

Listed below are some of the procedures our drivers follow: Our drivers are instructed to perform spot cleaning during & between runs during the same day.

  1. Spray bottles with disinfectant solution have been issued to drivers for the purpose of disinfection before, during and after the trip.
  2. The distribution of both large bottle and individual hand sanitizers to all passengers and employees.
  3. Each bus has been issued a SaniSafe disinfectant kit and the driver has been tasked with a complete wipe down of areas of common use both prior to and during the entire tour.
  4. While en‐route with passengers onboard, all effort will be made to allow fresh air into the cabin area.

On buses, we clean and disinfect surfaces and objects that are touched often, such as hand holds, seats, and interior walls using a hospital grade disinfectant solution.

Everyday Preventative Actions

Everyday preventive actions that can help keep people from getting and/or spreading flu. Our entire staff is encouraged to practice good personal health habits to help prevent flu.

  • Stay home when you are sick. Stay home for at least 24 hours after you no longer have a fever or signs of a fever without the use of fever-reducing medicines.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue.
  • Practice routine handwashing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use at least a 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
  • Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects.
  • Avoid touching your mouth, eyes, and nose with unwashed or gloved hands.
